Accessibility Statement
Last updated: April 2026
Our Commitment
The Little Thesis is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all users, including children, parents, educators, and individuals with disabilities. We strive to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards.
What We Do
- Semantic HTML - Proper heading hierarchy, landmarks, and ARIA labels throughout the site
- Keyboard navigation - All interactive elements are accessible via keyboard
- Screen reader support - Content is structured for assistive technology compatibility
- Color contrast - Text meets WCAG AA contrast ratio requirements (4.5:1 minimum)
- Responsive design - Content adapts to all screen sizes and devices
- Alt text - All images include descriptive alternative text
- Focus indicators - Visible focus outlines on all interactive elements
- Skip navigation - Skip-to-content link for keyboard users
Known Limitations
- The interactive book reader requires JavaScript for the page-flip experience. A fully functional image gallery is available as a fallback without JavaScript.
- Some coloring page images may have complex visual content that is difficult to fully describe in alt text.
