By accessing The Little Thesis website, you agree to these terms of use. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
This site is made for young children, but these terms are an agreement with adults. If you are under 18, a parent, guardian, or teacher should read these terms and agree to them on your behalf. Children are welcome to use the site; they simply cannot be the ones accepting the terms.
Educational Use
The content on this website, including coloring pages, blog posts, and educational materials, is provided for personal and educational use. Teachers, parents, and homeschool educators are welcome to use these resources in non-commercial educational settings.
What You May Do
- Print pages from this site for your own children or students to color, at home or in a free class, co-op, or library program
- Use blog articles, discussion questions, and activity ideas in lessons, homeschool units, and library programs
- Share links to any page on this site in newsletters, lesson plans, or social media
- Display printed pages in classrooms, libraries, and similar educational spaces
- Share photos of pages your child has colored on social media (we would love to see them: on Instagram, tag @the_little_thesis and use #subthesis)
What You May Not Do
- Sell, license, or charge for our content, printed or digital, in any form
- Print pages from this site for a class, co-op, camp, or program that charges families a fee. For paid settings, each child should use their own copy of the paperback, or you can email us for written permission
- Republish substantial portions of the site's text or artwork on another website or in another publication
- Remove attribution or present our characters or materials as your own work
- Use the characters or artwork in your own products, courses, or paid materials without written permission
Intellectual Property
All content, illustrations, characters (Curious Bunny, Professor Hoot, Subby the Robot, and Detail Dog), and text are the intellectual property of The Little Thesis. You may not reproduce, distribute, or sell this content without written permission. If you would like to use our materials in a way not covered by the educational permissions above, email us and ask. We are usually happy to say yes to genuine educational projects.
How We Make Money
This site is free, carries no advertising, and runs no trackers. It exists to share the work and to let people find the book, which we publish ourselves and sell through Amazon. When you follow a link to Amazon, you are going to our own product listing. We are not paid a commission by anyone for sending you there, and we run no affiliate links of any kind.
Links to Other Sites
This site links to places we do not control, including Amazon, Subthesis.com, Google, and educational standards organizations. We share those links because we think they are useful, not because we endorse everything on them. Once you follow one, that site's own terms and privacy practices apply, and we are not responsible for its content.
Search Engines, AI, and Automated Tools
We want this work to be found, including by search engines and AI assistants, and we publish a summary file at /llms.txt to help them describe us accurately. You are welcome to read, index, summarize, quote briefly with attribution, and link to anything here. What is not permitted is reproducing our artwork or substantial portions of our text wholesale, whether by hand or by machine, or presenting our characters and materials as your own. Those limits apply to automated systems exactly as they apply to people.
