How the Site Works

The Little Thesis is a static website hosted on GitHub Pages. When you visit, your browser requests pages directly from the hosting provider, and no application code runs on our behalf to identify you, profile you, or follow you across the web. Pages you view, coloring pages you print, and articles you read stay between you and your browser. GitHub, as our hosting provider, may keep standard server logs (such as IP addresses) for security and operational purposes; you can read more in GitHub's own privacy documentation.

Third-Party Services

This site uses Google Fonts for typography. When a page loads, your browser requests font files from Google's servers, and Google may collect limited technical data (such as your IP address and browser type) as part of serving that request. We do not send Google any information about who you are or what you do on this site. No other third-party services, advertising networks, or social media trackers are used.

Children's Privacy

This website is made for families with young children, so we hold ourselves to the strictest standard. We are committed to complying with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13, and because the site has no forms, accounts, comments, or chat features, there is no mechanism through which a child could submit personal information to us in the first place. If you believe a child has somehow provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

If you choose to email us at hello@thelittlethesis.com, we will see your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use that information only to reply to you. We do not add you to mailing lists, share your address, or retain your message longer than needed to help you.

This site contains links to external websites, including Subthesis.com, Amazon (where the book is sold), and educational standards organizations. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and we encourage you to review their policies. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of external sites.

Changes to This Policy

If our practices ever change, for example if we add analytics or an email newsletter, we will update this page and change the date at the top before the new practice takes effect.
