If you just found The Little Thesis, start here. I wrote these answers for parents, grandparents, and teachers deciding whether a research coloring book fits a child between 4 and 8. You'll learn what the book is and why I made it, whether your child is the right age, what's free on this site versus in the paperback sold on Amazon, how long the book usually takes, and what to do on day one. One question comes up constantly: do you need a science background? You don't. Every page on the site explains its research idea in plain words and gives you questions you can read aloud exactly as written. My best tip for a first sitting is to open page 1 and help your child write their name on the Title Page, so the book becomes theirs before you think about chapters or schedules.

How long does it take to finish the book?
There is no set pace. Some families finish in one busy week, others take six weeks or longer. One page per sitting suits most young kids.
