Everything on this website is free. You can read all 100 coloring pages, print any of them, and use the notes and discussion questions without paying, signing up, or seeing ads. The paperback is the same coloring adventure as a bound book, and it is sold only on Amazon.
What the website gives you
- Every page, 1 to 100. Each has its own address, from page 1 to page 100, with the artwork, a one-line story, and a scene description.
- Notes for grown-ups. Each page has an "About this page" section that explains the research idea behind the scene.
- Questions to talk about. Each page ends with a short "Talk about it while you color" list.
- The online reader. Read the Book lets you flip through all 100 pages in order.
- Printing. Your browser's Print command prints any page cleanly, without menus or buttons.
There are no accounts, no cookies, no trackers, and no affiliate links. I wanted any family, classroom, or library to be able to use the whole thing.
What's in the paperback
The paperback has the artwork, the story, and the notes. Each coloring page sits opposite a page with its notes, so the scene your child colors and the talking points for you are always side by side. Amazon handles fulfillment and shipping for me, which is why Amazon is the only place to buy it. There is no ebook or Kindle edition, and no downloadable PDF.
When the paperback makes sense
Some good reasons to choose it:
- You do not have a printer, or you would rather not print 100 pages.
- You want the notes next to each page without a screen nearby.
- Your child likes having a book they can carry around and finish cover to cover.
- You want to give it as a gift.
Mixing the two
You can also use both. The paperback stays on the table for coloring, and the website adds the online reader, extra help from this Help Desk, and single pages you can reprint when a favorite gets colored twice.
