Yes, please share them. I love seeing what kids do with these pages. Post a photo of your child's finished page on Instagram, tag @the_little_thesis, and add #subthesis so I can find it. Instagram is the only social account for The Little Thesis, so that's the best place to reach me with pictures.
Good things to share
- A favorite finished page. The colors kids choose often tell a story of their own.
- The Junior Researcher diploma. Page 99 is the finish line, and it's worth celebrating.
- The empty thought bubble. Page 10 is filled with whatever your child wonders about, and those answers are often the best part of the book.
- A research project in progress. A drawing, a tally chart, or a poster from a project your child did alongside the book.
Keep your child's privacy in mind
A few small habits make sharing safer:
- Crop out names. Page 1 has a spot for your child's name, and the diploma may too. Cover or crop it before posting if your account is public.
- Skip faces and locations if you'd rather keep your child's image offline. The artwork speaks for itself.
- Check the background for anything personal, like a school name or an address.
Sharing photos versus sharing the pages themselves
Photos of pages your child colored are always welcome. What isn't allowed is posting the blank artwork itself, or large parts of the book, for other people to download and print.
