A discovery that stays secret helps no one. Chapter 6, the final stretch from page 81 to 100, is where the friends learn that sharing what you found is part of the job. They write their story, check it, fix it, and finally stand up in front of everyone to tell the world what they learned.

Along the way, kids meet ideas that most people do not encounter until much later in life. The friends trade pages and check each other's work, a first taste of peer review that frames feedback as friendship rather than criticism. They practice saying what they found in their own words, celebrate together, and earn the Junior Researcher diploma waiting at the end of the book.

For families and classrooms, the natural finale is a tiny presentation: let your child show their favorite colored pages and explain what the friends discovered.
